Special Purpose Vessel ‘Pacific Conquest’ has returned from the annual maintenance dredging campaign in far northern Queensland.
The program ran from May to August, with bed levelling services conducted at Cairns, Weipa, Amrun, Karumba and Mourilyan. Operating at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic came with its own unique challenges, with East Coast Maritime management working closely with our Client to ensure the health and safety of personnel and local communities was at the forefront of our operations. Our COVID Management Plan was effective in controlling identified risks associated with coronavirus, such as crew travel arrangements, ensuring our employees could continue to operate with confidence during these uncertain times.
This year’s campaign continues a long and successful relationship with our Client that has thus far spanned more than a decade.
